Fintech leader Param announced its financial results for the second quarter of 2023. In the second quarter of the year, the number of transactions made with ParamKart increased by approximately 1,880 percent and the transaction amount by 2,668 percent compared to the same period of the previous year. ParamPOS’s transaction volume increased by 303 percent in the second quarter of the year compared to the same period of the previous year, and the number of transactions increased by approximately 86 percent.

The number of transactions made with ParamKart increased by approximately 1,880 percent compared to the same period last year, and the transaction volume increased by 2,668 percent. The ranking of the sectors where the most spending is made with ParamKart also revealed the usage habits of consumers. According to the data, ParamKart users spent the most in the field of “Digital Products”. In the second quarter of 2023, “Grocery Stores and Supermarkets” ranked second, and “Gasoline and Fuel Stations” ranked third. The first three sectors with the highest spending were followed by the “Electronic White Goods” and “Clothing Accessories” sectors.

While it was observed that the most spending made with ParamKart in the second quarter of 2023 was made on Tuesday, April 4, the increase in the average basket amount increased by 752 percent compared to the same period last year.

ParamPOS’s transaction volume in the second quarter of the year increased by 303 percent compared to the same period last year, reaching 27 billion TL. The number of transactions made with the POS solution grew by approximately 86 percent and reached 38 million TL.

31 percent of the transactions made through ParamPOS in the second quarter of 2023 were in installments and 69 percent were in one payment. While the average basket amount grew by 116 percent compared to the first quarter of last year, the highest spending was made on Wednesday, May 10. Debit card transaction volume increased by 377 percent and credit card transaction volume increased by 323 percent compared to last year.
